Green Synthesis of Magnesium Oxide Nanoparticles with Antioxidant Potential Using the Leaf Extract of Piper nigrum

Green fabrication is an environmentally friendly and innovative method, attractive research field for the production of magnesium oxide nanoparticles (MgO NPs) in clinical environmental applications. In this study, a viable green synthetic approach has been carried out to produce MgO NPs by using leaf aqueous extract Piper nigrum as capping agent. The formation physicochemical properties were confirmed through standard characterization methods. All analytical data revealed pure, rod-shaped, crystalline with average size 20 nm. low concentration 50 µg/mL shows 29.99% free radical scavenging, whereas highest 500 exhibits 91.99% scavenging compared ascorbic acid.
